CranioSacral therapy is not a substitute for medical intervention, and it is important to recognize that I am not able to diagnose or treat these conditions.  However, CranioSacral therapy has proven over 30 years to be an effective intervention for a wide range of problems associated with pain and loss of function. Due to its gentleness and effectiveness, many people include it as a component in their personal wellness programs. They report having more energy, sleeping better and being sick less often.

How It Works:

The practitioner works with the client applying very gentle pressure to guide the CranioSacral system back into its appropriate rhythm.  This helps release tensions deep in the central nervous system which allows the systems in your body to relax and self-correct.  This helps to naturally free yourself from pain, stress, and discomfort.

The technique is performed on fully clothed clients on our comfortable massage table.

How many sessions:

The length of time and number of sessions needed is extremely variable and depends, among other factors, on the complex layers of injury and trauma that may mask the original cause of the problem as well as the body’s defense mechanisms.   Usually a 3 session to 5 session series is recommended to see how the work progresses.

What to Wear:

CranioSacral sessions are performed fully clothed, it is best to wear loose comfortable clothing.
